I want to start by thanking each and every one of you for the support you have shown over the past few years during issues that directly effect the union. It's makes it easier to take on a challenge knowing the men and women in which we as board members serve will be their to back you.

I ran for office because I felt I had the time off to serve the members to my full capacity. I realized that it took a lot of time, and I wanted to dedicate mine to the union. I felt that with the time I had in the union I could contribute positive movement for our members. Being in the forefront of issues does test your commitment to stand up for what you feel is right and I'm enjoying every minute of it. I hope to continue to serve on the board in the future years to come.

As you are all aware of the issues we have coming up in the near future, I ask that you make a honest effort to attend the union meeting so we can get different ideas and format a solid decision for our members. Remember " The Will to Win is not as important as the Will to Prepare to Win" and with your ideas and in-put, I believe we can enter every issue with confidence.
