It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Glenn Anthony Dugas of IAFF Local 619 - Lafayette, Louisiana. Brother Dugas, 52, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2010 from esophageal cancer.

The viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Melancon Funeral Home, 4615 N. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 102 North Church Street, Carencro, Louisiana 70520, (337) 896-9408. Interment to follow at the Evangeline Memorial Gardens, 4113 N. University, Carencro, Louisiana 70520.
