Adam "Butch" LaCombe
Adam "Butch" LaCombe’s Eulogy. Adam, Daddy, Butch, Mr. LaCombe, Chief. We all know him by different names. He was a man who wore many hats. He was a father, a husband, a leader and a friend. He had a good ear for listening, and as we all know he loved to share his opinion. "No matter how it felt". He was honest, caring, strong, dependable, trustworthy, and expected the same from each and every one of us. He loved the simple things in life. Green grass and trees, a rainy night, Dr. Pepper, a good banana frappe’, and his wonderful loving family. As a devoted father and husband he spent his life providing and making sure his family was taken care of. He loved his wife Clarisse, daughter Nicole, and sons Damon, Bryan and Kyle with all his heart and soul. He had very strong beliefs ranging from work ethics, to religion, to being a father. He was a very proud man, proud of his family, his work, and his outstanding accomplishments. This and all that he was is evident in everything that he has done. There probably isn’t a person who hasn’t felt a warm smile brought on by him. His sense of humor and his ability to tell a good joke or 30 always kept in stitches and hungry for more. There isn’t enough time in the day to tell everything about Adam "Butch" LaCombe. We all have our stories, fondness, and memories of him tucked away in a special place we reserved for him in our hearts. He was a special man who touched each and every one of us. He may no longer be with us in body but he will forever be with us in spirit and in our hearts and in our memories. |
